Quantum Materials for Advanced Energy, Health and Information Technology
The aim of the symposium is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, theorists as well as experimentalist on the design, fabrication, theory, analysis and applications of quantum materials.
The specific symposium topics are:
- Future electronics with novel functionalities: topology, superconductivity, Mottronics, straintronics, 2-dimensional electron gas, magnetism, ferroelectricity, interface phenomena, freestanding/flexible membrane;
- Quantum materials for energy: photovoltaic, photocatalysis for water splitting, CO2 sequestration, etc.;
- Quantum materials for health: lipid separation, anti bacterial coatings, nano drug delivery, nano particles in imaging, cell differentiation and growth.
